Change to Violin I Music, and Practice!

South String Ensemble, This contains two messages, one for the violins, and one for everyone. 1) In the video section of this website, there is an MP4 video of the Allegretto Grazioso. Please listen to it and follow the music while you listen. Pay attention to parts where your section comes out or pulls back, and also be conscious of the other sections. 2) The following message is for violins only. May or may not pertain to second violin. Violin I, in Allegretto Grazioso, please mark the second and third note of measure 149 as up bows. For clarification, those two notes are G and F#. Violin II section leader William Wu, please check your music and figure out if this change pertains to you also.

Additionally, we will be setting up a system to collect scanned versions of each sections' music from the section leaders, so be ready. This way, if any orchestra member loses their music, they can immediately report it to the string ensemble orchestra council, and they will in turn either send you or print for you a copy of your music.
